Terms of Service

By accessing or using AlgoInsight ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

AlgoInsight is an online learning platform for technical interview preparation that provides:

- Structured courses on data structures, algorithms, system design, and behavioral interviews

- 500+ pattern-tagged coding problems with AI hints and an in-browser code editor

- AI-powered mock interview portals: System Design, DSA, Technical Coding, and Behavioral

- Algorithm visualizer for step-by-step visual walkthroughs of sorting, trees, and graphs

- Technical articles and career guides written by industry professionals

- Progress tracking, streak system, leaderboard, and verifiable completion certificates

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice.

Registration: You must create an account to access most features. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@algoinsight.io if you suspect unauthorized access.

One Account Per Person: Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions is prohibited.

Account Termination: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity.

Free Tier: Access to a limited set of problems and content. No payment required.

Pro Subscription: Monthly or annual subscription granting full access to all content, AI evaluations, and premium features.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis via Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on the recurring schedule you select.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

Refunds: All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds on subscriptions or individual course purchases. Please review the free content available before purchasing to ensure AlgoInsight is right for you. If you experience a technical issue preventing access, contact support@algoinsight.io and we will work to resolve it.

Price Changes: We will provide 30 days notice before changing subscription prices. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

Our Content: All content on AlgoInsight - including text, code samples, diagrams, videos, and course materials - is owned by AlgoInsight or its licensors and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

Your Content: Content you submit (profile information, comments, forum posts) remains yours. By submitting, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display it in connection with the Service.

Feedback: Feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the Service may be used by us without obligation to you.

Third-Party Content: Some content may be from third parties. Their respective intellectual property rights apply.

You agree not to:

- Share account credentials or allow others to use your account

- Attempt to access, scrape, or download content in bulk without authorization

- Use the Service to create competing products or services

- Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the platform

- Transmit malware, viruses, or any harmful code

- Harass, abuse, or harm other users

- Post content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights

- Attempt to circumvent premium access restrictions

- Use automated bots to access the platform

- Impersonate AlgoInsight or its employees

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We do not warrant that:

- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free

- Content is accurate, complete, or up to date

- The Service will meet your specific requirements

- Using the Service will guarantee employment or interview success

Educational content reflects best practices at the time of writing. Technology and industry standards evolve; always verify information with current sources.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlgoInsight shall not be liable for:

- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities

- Damages arising from unauthorized access to your account

- Content accuracy or completeness

Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages; in such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution: We encourage resolving disputes through our support team first (support@algoinsight.io). If that fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2015.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits against AlgoInsight.

Exceptions: Either party may seek emergency injunctive relief in courts of competent jurisdiction.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AlgoInsight.

Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of future enforcement.

Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights with notice.
